AI and Job Losses
Researchers at Microsoft have analysed anonymised Bing Copilot data from 2024 to find out which professions are least and most likely to be replaced or at least heavily impacted by AI. On top of the list they have translators and interpreters, followed by historians.
It makes sense as AI is least likely to replace many manual labour jobs except in factories where automation is already very high. I myself have designed several websites over the years, including this one, but AI can now do the heavy lifting if you don’t mind a standard sort of layout.
