The importance of the prompt
The first video was Pixverse AI and the second was Hailuo AI
The prompt for both videos was:
“a drone view of the top of a waterfall from above with the waterfall falling over the edge into the canyon below and a man in a kayak at the top of the waterfall approaching the edge and falling over the edge to the canyon below”
You’ll notice how explicit I was in the wording of the prompt. Initially, I started simple with something like “a man in a kayak nearing the edge of a waterfall and going over the edge”. This failed as these stills show:

Yet at other times, a basic one sentence prompt does the job! It all depends on the app you are using and the subject matter. Many people will use another AI to polish their prompt. For example, I used Perplexity AI a form of ChatGPT to ‘improve’ my longer prompt and it came up with this:
“Create a cinematic aerial shot captured by a high-resolution drone, looking straight down from above at the very edge of a majestic waterfall. The powerful river rushes toward the cliff, churning white water as it prepares to plunge into the deep canyon below. The lush greenery of the surrounding landscape is visible at the edges of the frame, emphasizing the height and scale of the waterfall. A single man in a brightly colored kayak is seen at the top of the waterfall, skillfully navigating the turbulent water. He paddles with determination toward the precipice, his approach marked by suspense and intensity. As the kayak reaches the brink, both the man and his craft are swept over the edge in a dramatic free fall, disappearing into the mist and spray that rises from the canyon below. The video should focus on breathtaking detail: the swirling water, the rugged rocks lining the canyon, the man’s tense posture, and the vast natural beauty surrounding the scene. The overall atmosphere should evoke awe, adrenaline, and the raw power of nature, captured in a sweeping and immersive drone perspective.”
This is too much in my view! But you are welcome to try it and let me know if the results compare with my version!
